Creating Sales Credibility Online

Course Description

Today’s sales professionals are asked to manage larger territories and travel less. As a result, they use such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams to conduct client conversations. But can your sales reps build the same kind of business relationships in a virtual world as they do in person? Are their online sales conversations just as rich as when they’re face-to-face with a prospect?

Creating Sales Credibility Online helps today’s sales professionals identify and develop the skills needed to succeed in a virtual sales environment. Each module is delivered on your company’s presentation platform to ensure immediate application.

Participants will learn:

  • The most common complaints about virtual sales calls from both salespeople and customers
  • Creating a solid visual impression:
    1. - Camera angles and eye contact
      - Lighting and other technical issues
      - Professional appearance and decorum
  • Encouraging customers to use virtual meetings vs telephone
  • Opening the sales call to engage the customer and get them talking
  • Tips and best practices for using the tools of your platform to demonstrate products and services:
    1. - Webcam views
      - Screen sharing
      - File sharing, whiteboards, chat and other features as your platform allows
  • Active listening in a virtual environment
  • Closing the call with an eye to continuing the relationship and setting up the next call

The second module of the 2-part class is designed to give participants hands-on, in-depth knowledge of their presentation platform, answer specific questions, and practice opening sales calls, demonstrating value and learning to present effectively using the technology at their disposal.
